Established in 1051, this monastery is one of the oldest and most interesting in Kyiv. On the premises you can visit the caves where monks had been living and many other churches and museums. Museum has been closed for one year because of political problems. To enter museum, you must go with tour guide. Built by Prince Yaroslav the Wise in 1037, this church was established to glorify the wisdom of Christianity. One of the most interesting sights is the collection of frescoes and mosaics inside the cathedral.
